This project explores a holistic architectural design approach to a luxury restaurant and villa hotel, aimed at providing guests with a seamless blend of comfort, elegance, and a connection to nature, each with its own pool as well as a main communal pool. The design is inspired by modern architectural aesthetics while incorporating sustainable and local elements to create a unique hospitality experience.

  • Main Pool:
  • Functionality: The main pool serves as the heart of the outdoor space, providing guests with a communal area to relax and socialize. It’s strategically positioned between the restaurant and villas, allowing convenient access for all visitors.
  • Design Inspiration: The pool is designed with an infinity edge to create the illusion of merging with the horizon, enhancing the sense of relaxation and connection to the surrounding natural landscape.
  • Aesthetic Features: Surrounded by lush greenery, the pool incorporates natural stone and timber elements that tie into the resort’s overall organic design theme. Ambient lighting has been integrated to create a peaceful nighttime atmosphere.

·  Restaurant Design:

  • Central Hub: The restaurant is centrally located to serve both villa guests and external visitors. It features an open-plan design with expansive windows, offering panoramic views of the main pool and surrounding landscape.
  • Materials and Atmosphere: The architecture incorporates natural materials such as timber beams, stone walls, and bamboo elements to reflect the local environment. This creates a warm, inviting ambiance while maintaining an elegant, upscale feel.
  • Outdoor Seating: A key feature of the restaurant is its outdoor seating area, situated adjacent to the main pool. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining with views of the pool, seamlessly integrating dining experiences with the resort’s outdoor spaces.

Villa Pools:

  • Exclusive Retreat: Each villa features a private pool, offering guests a secluded space for relaxation. The size and design of these pools reflect the intimate scale of the villas, providing an extension of the villa’s private living area.
  • Design Continuity: The villa pools echo the design of the main pool but are more tailored for private experiences. They include natural stone surrounds, water features, and strategically placed greenery to maintain privacy without compromising the visual appeal.
  • Indoor-Outdoor Connection: Large sliding doors open from the villa living areas onto the pool deck, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. This encourages a seamless flow and offers guests a personal sanctuary.

Concept and Design Inspiration:

Design Philosophy: The design emphasizes open spaces, natural light, and the integration of indoor and outdoor environments. The aim is to create a serene, luxurious, and environmentally conscious space that reflects the local culture while catering to modern expectations of comfort.

Sustainability: A key aspect of the project is its focus on sustainability. The use of locally sourced materials, energy-efficient systems, and eco-friendly building practices ensures minimal environmental impact.

Design Features:

Sustainable Materials: The use of wood, stone, and other locally available materials creates a sustainable yet aesthetically pleasing environment.

Natural Lighting and Ventilation: A key design principle is to maximize natural lighting and ventilation through strategic window placement and the use of open spaces.

Integration with Nature: The landscaping around the villas and restaurant has been designed to enhance the natural beauty of the location, ensuring that the building complements rather than competes with the surroundings.

Architectural Vision: The goal is to design a space that offers a luxurious yet intimate experience, where architecture and nature are in harmony. The layout and design prioritize guest comfort while celebrating the beauty of the location, making this project a unique addition to any hospitality portfolio.
